POOH-rific Party

We had Bailey's birthday Party on Saturday with our families and it turned out great. The weather was Non-Rainy and that's as much as I can ask for. We sentBaiely over to grandmas house before we started decorating. One, because we didn't want her getting into everything and two, because she would be surprise when she saw the party. As a two year old she still has a hard time comprehending what a birthday is. But she loved the decorations, eating cake, playing with her cousins, and opening presents. All I can say is "POOH-yaw".
Meet our concierge Winnie the Pooh. He greeted our guest at the door and welcomed them to the party.

Bailey loved the balloons and wanted to bring Pooh into the party. Once she saw all her cousins inside she left Pooh in the dust. And the PARTY was on.

Here is BAM in her Pooh ears.

We started singing 'Happy Birthday' and my crazy outgoing daughter became very shy! It was really cute.

She had TONS of help when it came to opening presents. She opened a purple envelop first and shouted "COOL". She was so happy with that colorful envelop, I should have taken the rest of the presents and saved them for a rainy day. But we continued on.

Somehow through the shouting cousins and flying wrapping paper she got some gifts open. She received her first Princess doll and Cinderella even had a necklace for Bailey to wear. Can you say "Yeeeeaaaahhh"!

Robert and I got Bays a tricycle and she can't wait to learn how to work this new transportation device.

It's a Pooh party so you've got to have a Pooh cake. Yes, I made it and decorated it. A lot of blood sweat, and tears went into this creation (figuratively). And it tasted delicious.

We had a difficult time blowing out the candles. Mainly because Bailey got a bad burn about 2 months ago (from the stove) and now she avoids all things hot. Again, she receive help from her cousins and the flame was blown out (very quickly).

We turned the back yard into a kid zone, thus the indoors could be for the adults. Rob and I put up tents to contain the madness that children create. Here is the balloon tent (a tent filled with balloons). The kids just loved bouncing around and punching the balloons.

The bigger tent was full of Winnie the Pooh coloring books and we had a TV inside it playing a Pooh movie. All of the sudden the noise level outside quieted down and we realized that the kids had discovered the big tent and they were watching the movie.

Myah, Jackson, Bennett, and Bailey coloring together. I love it when they can play quietly.

Lots of family came and even a couple of friends showed their support to Bailey. Kerry came with some of her family. They were surprised by how much Addison had grown and especially how chunky her tights are.

Cousin Sarah slept through most of the party. She looks too cute with her daddy.

It was a lot of work and a lot of fun for everyone. At the end of the day Robert and Addison were tuckered out. So Precious!

Happy Pooh-rific Birthday Bailey!
