Bailey had her fourth birthday this weekend and I didn't really have anything planned. Most of our family was going to be out of town so we postponed the big party. I decided to take the girls to the Children's Museum for some fun to offset the absence of the party. Plus, I had a buy one get one free admission coupon.
The new kangaroo exhibit was okay but more on the educational side and my kids just wanted to play so we moved on quickly.
The grocery store was right up our alley. But the place was packed and Bailey was getting mad at other kids for taking her "groceries".
Permission to draw on sisters face- OKAY!
Bam took this very serious.
Next time we come here I'm going to visit the face painting station last so my kids don't look like aborigines in all the pictures.
At the tree fort, the girls made tall tree towers and then pushed them over to make steps to walk on.
The water room is the best, but it's hard to convince your child to put on a wet vest so they'll stay dry.
Addie loved splashing but aparently Bailey did not.
Her "cat face" painting and then some.
FYI this face paint is really oily and will only come off with soap and water. Bailey tried to scrub it off in the tub and ended up taking off layers of skin and now she has a dime size scab by her temple.
Addie's master piece and excitement. It looks like she is giving the museum two thumbs up but really she is just shaking her fist in uncontrollable joy!

Adorable!! Your girls look like they had a blast. Plus the face paint totally makes the day worth it!
