Grandpa Tom

On December 3rd, 2008, at the age of 76, Grandpa Tom passed away.

This is one of the best pictures I have of Grandpa Tom. It's at our wedding and Robert was so glad his grandfather could make it.

On January 9, 2009 we had a service for Grandpa Tom at Willamette National Cemetery. He had served in the armed forces and got to have military honors at his service.

And I just had to throw this cute picture in. It's of Addie all bundled up (the service was held outside) and Micheal (a cousin) in his navy uniform. It just melts my heart.

The service was very nice and TJ read a lovely letter he had written to his day years ago but it still applied to today. Grandpa Tom will be missed but we know he is in a better place, united with his family members, and that he is happy to have complete use of his body in Heaven.
