Family Portrait time!!!

This Christmas is a Friess' Christmas. Which means all my family members are here in Oregon to celebrate together. We rent a big cabin and hunker down together for the holiday. Well before that could happen we had to get a family portrait taken. The 21 of us only get together about once a year or two. Normally it's during our family reunion in Eastern Oregon for a weekend of camping. After three days of sleeping in tents we try to take a picture but we all look nasty and gross so no one ever frames that shot. My dad always wants pictures of us but demands we all wear the same thing (even if half the people look like death in his color choice) which is ridiculous. So we surprised mom and dad with a family portrait for their birthdays and this way they couldn't have a say as to what we would do, wear, or when it would be taken. It worked out great because they were just so happy a real family portrait was getting taken they didn't care if we didn't match.
We had individual family pictures taken with a green screen behind us. Then with the help of photoshop we'll get one picture with all of the families standing beside each other.

In between photo shoots the kids watched a movie. Uncle Ryan loved cuddling with Bailey and Haven.

Caden was sick with a fever so his parents did all they could to keep him happy. It looks like he is drinking beer in a beaker but that would lead to child services knocking on their door. He is really drinking martinellies sparkling cider which is like liquid gold to a 2 year old.

Here is the Danny's in photo mode. Even with all their princess skills it was hard to get the kids to smile at the same time.

Uncle John would make ugly, silly, random faces to get the kiddo's to smile.

We tried to get a shot of all 8 grandbabies together, but it was very unsuccessful. It would've, could've, should've turned out really cute because all the kids were dressed in Christmas colors and looked so cute together. And it was all a coincidence because the parents didn't plan the outfits.

Robert and Dan did coordinate their outfits. They both wore tan pants and a blue striped white shirt. Here they are showing off their bellies. One of them is faking the big belly the other wishes they were faking the big belly.

We took casual shots of the families too. After our green screen photo shoot we got one with a normal background taken just for the instant gratification of it all. And I must say we clean up pretty good.
When the pictures go through photoshop and I've got a family portrait of all of us I'll show it to you.
