SURPRISE! visit to oregon

Robert had a trip planned for himself to fly to Oregon for over a month. He had a business meeting for a potential job with a financial company. Since the car wreck we've been without a car. So Roberts round trip plane ticket turned into a one-way ticket and he was planning on driving a car back for us. 36 hours before he was scheduled to leave he suggested that I take the other half of his round trip ticket and come home with him. How could I say no, I love Oregon. If we didn't get to see you don't feel bad. It was a last minute trip and we were only in town for 48 hours.

Bailey and Robert on the plane getting ready to surprise the family. Even with a cold she was a big trooper.

Bailey with Cousin Caden giving kisses. They are both sick but two illnesses always cancel each other out . . . right.

She loves dogs, even ones as aggressive as Blue. She loved the doggy kisses and even tried to ride Blue like a pony. She took a couple of hits and scared Aunt Wendy with her bravery but it was all in good fun.

Grandma Sharon is in heaven, reading books to all her grand-daughters (Myah, Haven, & Bam).

Haven was so excited to find a book that she could read to her cousin. Bailey always sits in our laps when we read her books so she just had to sit in Havens lap. Too cute!

The reason for our visit, Rob's big business meeting. It went great and he's got the job if he wants it. So the ball is in his/ our court.

We were dreading the 14 hour drive back to Utah with an active and sick toddler. Robert even considered spending the big bucks to fly her and I home so he could avoid the stress of it all, but Bam did great. Three hours into the drive she had leaked out of her diaper and soaked her car seat, she's a really big drinker. So she sat on a dry t-shirt the rest of the drive. We were armed with a DVD player (which she only watched for a total of 3 hours), Sesame Street Cd's (she is easily distracted by these), and lots of snacks (including candy). She took two 40 minutes naps which seemed to be enough for her (we desired more). We rolled in to SLC right after nine and were glad to be home, but we are looking forward to moving back in Oregon in a month.
