Strawberry picking . . .

This past week Wendy and I were able to drive out to Sauvie Island to pick some strawberries with our kids.

It was a beautiful day and the location was amazing.

We picked 30 pounds of strawberries.

Bailey got sunscreen in her eye which required a 30 minute meltdown on her part.

Looking at bugs.

A photo with Baby Canyon.

After picking we went to Wendy's house and made jam with all the berries.
I want to go again soon but in search of a different fruit.

  1. 30 pounds—that's incredible! picking berries here is no cheaper than buying them at the store, so it really makes me miss berry picking in oregon where it's a good deal. you should get some marionberries—those are way tasty, too. miss you guys :)
