Preschool Fieldtrip

On October 8th Bailey and Caden had their first preschool fieldtrip. We'd been learning about apples and decided it was time for an outing. Since most of their cousins are home-schooled we invited them and it became family activity.
We went to the Apple Tasting Festival at the Portland Nursery. Every fall the nursery sets up a huge covered area and cuts up thousands of apples. Then the public gets to come through and sample all the different apples. There are so many to try, oh and pears too. What's even better is they kid activities!

Jack, Bailey, Haven, Myah, Addie, & Sarah

Every kid gets to choose a pumpkin to paint.

 That pumpkin is oddly shaped.
Canyon.

 Painting can get messy.

 Check out the concentration.

Oh, and the goodies . . . pop corn, hot cider, dips, etc.
The kids had a blast, the weather was great, if only I'd gone. Thanks Grandma for taking my kids so I could work for you. They loved it.
