We'd been meaning to get over to the Property in Eastern Oregon all summer but every weekend in June was rainy. The sun broke through, we loaded up our camping gear and headed out of town (I'd been back from girls camp for 14 hours). We arrived Friday night and the fun began.
Danielle and Haven
Myah making smores. Bailey (in background) prefered to "just eat the chocolate and marshmellow, not cooked".
Addie got cuddles from grandma.
Danielle preformed her "fathers day" song. It's very good.
The girls (Haven, Myah, & Addie) ran around the yard with glow-sticks.
Robert tried to keep Bailey warm.
The next day we drove into Sisters for a craft fair.
Snow-cone please.
She liked the sour apple
A "hang-bar race" broke out amongst the family.
Robert was just glad to complete it.
Brent took first with 2.7 seconds.
Danielle got second because she just couldn't break the 3.0 mark.
Addie had to give it a try.
And Bays tried to beat her dad's record.
We were walking back to the cars and got an imprompto tour of the fire station.
Driving the big rig.
Uncle Brent got in on the action too.
Grandma gave everyone manicures to get the dirt out of their nails.
Cohen all bundled up, it gets cold fast.
Addie trying to climb "uncle Brent Mountain".
And the best park of the trip-
Catching Bob Friess (my dad) destroying evidence that he cut something down and burned it.
Too funny.
We had a great time hanging out and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. And lucky us we'll be back there in a couple of weeks for the family reunion.
